What motels allow 17 year olds to buy them?

My friend and i are planning to go on a road trip, we are both 17 years of age. We don't really have our parents' consent on the road trip so we are planning on buying the Motel ourselves. I have a debit card, but i'm 18 yet, and i didn't know if specific motels allow the rental of rooms for minors. :T I live in Texas btw.
